    3 Natural Foundations You Can Make At Home For A Glowing Skin

    Foundations are the heart of your beauty routine. They can make or break your makeup look, so it’s important to invest in one that suits your skin type and complements your features. But, the cost of buying foundations from the store can add up, and if you’re like me and don’t want to put something synthetic on your face, you might be tempted to skip foundation all together. However, you don’t have to give up on the idea of having a flawless base!

    Full Coverage Foundation

    A good foundation should give you full coverage without feeling heavy or cakey. What you need to do is find the right formula for your skin type. If you have oily skin, look for a foundation that’s oil-free and mattifying. A dry-skin sufferer would be best suited to a hydrating foundation.

    Ingredients :

    1 teaspoon of argan oil
    1 teaspoon shea butter
    1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
    1 teaspoon witch hazel
    ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
    ½ tablespoon emulsifying wax

    Method :

    1. Put some shea butter, argan oil, and emulsifying wax in a glass bowl.
    2. Using a double boiler, melt these ingredients until smooth.
    3. Turn off the flame and add in some witch hazel and aloe vera gel.
    4. When the mixture has cooled, add the cocoa powder.
    5. Blend everything well to get a smooth foundation.
    6. Keep the mixture in an airtight container

    Light Coverage Foundation

    Lightly moisturized with nutmeg powder foundation to cover skin imperfections while promoting clearer skin.

    Ingredients :

    2-3 tablespoons of moisturizer
    ½ teaspoon cornflour
    ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
    ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
    Pinch of turmeric powder
    2 drops of your favourite essential oil

    Method :

    1. Take some moisturiser and add cornflour, nutmeg powder, and cocoa powder to it.
    2. Mix in a few drops of essential oil into the bowl.
    3. If you have a warm skin tone, you can add a pinch of turmeric.
    4. Mix everything well so that everything is well blended.
    5. Add some more cocoa powder to your foundation to make it match your skin tone.

    Powder Foundation

    An easy and very quick DIY powdered foundation enriched with the goddess of Kaolin Clay to get rid of excess oil, soothe the skin and give it an ultimate glow.

    Ingredients :

    ¼ cup Kaolin Clay or China Clay
    ¼ cup Arrowroot powder
    Pinch of turmeric powder
    Cocoa powder

    Method :

    1. Mix the kaolin and arrowroot powder in a bowl and add cocoa powder of your desired skin tone.
    2. If you have a warm skin tone, add a pinch of turmeric powder.
    3. Mix everything together and store in an airtight container to prevent moisture from getting in.
