Long skirts have been in style for the past couple of years and the trend shows no sign of slowing down yet! Because of this, you’re sure to see long skirts hanging off the backs of chairs everywhere you go, so why not make it one that’s your own? Here are some stylish ways to wear long skirts from head to toe.
1) Classic Pencil Skirt

The Classic Pencil skirt is a classic staple in any woman’s wardrobe. The pencil skirt is a fitted garment that tapers at the hips and then narrows to a point just below the knee, giving it its name. This style of skirt creates an elongated silhouette for the wearer, making them appear taller and slimmer. The classic pencil skirt can be worn year round with anything from flats to heels and is perfect for work or play.
2) Flared Pencil Skirt

This flared pencil skirt is made of a cotton/polyester blend, which means it’s both comfortable and durable. It also features a zipper on the back for easy dressing. Pair this skirt with any top for a stylish look that’s perfect for work or date night!
3) Summer Print Pencil Skirt

Our Summer Print Pencil skirt is perfect for all occasions. Whether your looking for a day-to-night outfit, or just want something different from your go-to black dress, our pencil skirt will not disappoint. The print adds that pop of color you need to spice up any outfit and the length is perfect for warmer months. Wear it with a fun tee and sandals during the day, or dress it up with heels and jewelry for an evening out on the town! For a more casual look, pair this skirt with flats or sneakers. It’s the perfect length for pairing with flats so you don’t have to worry about stepping on them when walking!
4) No-Sew Maxi Skirt

A no-sew maxi skirt is a perfect project for a beginner sewer. It’s also the quickest way you’ll ever make a skirt. You will need:
-Felt or wool fabric -Scissors -Pins -Stitch Witchery
- Cut your desired length from the fabric. I made mine around 36 inches long and 20 inches wide, but you can make it as long or short as you want! Fold one of the edges inwards by about 3/4 so that there’s an inch fold on either side of the fold. Pin this down with stitch witchery, then pin the other edge down in place. Stitch all along the sides of your skirt to keep them together. Make sure you stitch close enough so that it doesn’t show through on both layers!
5) Wide-Leg Trousers

Wide leg trousers are an easy way to get the silhouette of a long skirt without actually wearing one. Pair them with some low top sneakers or sandals, and you’ve got yourself a look that’s perfect for any season.
They’re great for adding volume to your legs and hips, which is helpful if you’re looking for a more flattering silhouette. Plus, they’ll help balance out your proportions as well, making it so you don’t need as many high waist bottoms.
6) Printed A-line Dress

A printed A-line dress is a great way to style a long skirt. You can also pair this skirt with a crop top and sandals or flats. This is a very trendy look that’s perfect for the warmer months. If you have an event coming up, it might be worth investing in one of these printed dresses. It’ll take you from day to night effortlessly!
