Dior makeup artist shared her top picks with Vogue, and they’re all products I’ve heard of before but never really tried out. But that’s going to change now that I know they can help me get better skin in no time at all! The three products are the following
1) Put On More Foundation

I know, I know—you’re probably thinking, isn’t that counterintuitive? But hear me out. This makeup artist told me that by putting on more foundation, you can actually achieve a filtered look. The key is to use a light foundation and then go in with a concealer that’s one or two shades lighter than your skin tone. This will help brighten up your under-eye area and give you a more awake appearance.
The other products you use should be considered based on your skin type. If you have oily skin, you’ll probably want to skip matte finishing powders, which tend to absorb excess oil. Instead, opt for a setting spray that will help set your makeup and keep it from moving around throughout the day. Also, try to use an oil-free moisturizer and a light powder foundation so you don’t make things worse!
2) The Mattifying powder

Mattifying powder will help to absorb any excess oil on your skin and give you a matte finish. The makeup artist told me that this is perfect for hot summer days or when you want to achieve a more natural look. She recommended using it under your foundation or concealer for a long-lasting, shine-free finish.
Next, she recommended a highlighting powder in shades like pink or gold. This can be used alone or under foundation to give your skin a healthy, glowing appearance. She said you can use it as an eyeshadow as well as on your cheekbones, nose and brow bones for subtle glow.
3) Spray-on setting spray

A setting spray is a must for anyone who wants their makeup to last all day long. But according to one Dior makeup artist, it can also be used to achieve filtered-looking skin. Just mist your face with a setting spray before you start your makeup routine, she says. It will help blur any imperfections and give you a nice, even base.
You can use it before or after your foundation, but we suggest doing it before you start applying other products. That way, they’ll blend more easily into your skin. You’ll also want to hold the bottle several inches away from your face and spray in an X-shape for maximum coverage.
