At-Home Manicures Just Got Easier with the Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit

You can do your gel nails at home with the Le Mini Macaron gel manicure kit.

Le Mini Maracon offers a wide range of nail polish colours.

Our editor has shared her complete Le Mini Macaron review.

It’s unusual to catch me without a manicure. I constantly have something on my nails, whether it’s gel or conventional polish from the salon or a fast at-home mani. Why? First, my nails are quite brittle, but when I wear nail polish, they are less likely to break; second, my job requires me to take a lot of shots of items, specifically holding products, and I believe that a little colour makes everything appear better.

In between salon appointments, I enjoy doing my own manicures at home and feel myself to be fairly skilled at them. The only issue is that they chip so readily that it sometimes feel like a waste of time to paint my nails in the first place. That’s when I started researching at at-home gel manicure kits and found the cutest one yet called Le Mini Macaron.

    PC: buzz feed

Le Mini Macaron gets its name from the macaron-shaped LED light. Unlike standard LED lamps, which are only practical, the Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit ($35) is also really cute. It comes in a variety of colours and two sizes: tiny (for healing one finger at a time) and large (for your full hand). (I have the small pink lamp.) It’s powered by a USB connector, so you can take it with you and use it on the go.

What’s Included in the Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit:

    Gel nail polish
    Mini nail file
    10 gel-polish remover wipes
    LED lamp with USB cord
    Cuticle stick

While the gel kits include a bottle of polish, depending on the option, you can purchase additional one-step gel nail polish hues individually. The brand offers every colour imaginable, from contemporary greens to classic beige tones.

For my fingertips, I usually wear red in the fall and winter and light pink in the spring and summer. My favourite colours are Pomegranate ($12), Crème D’Abricot ($12), and Fairy Floss ($12).
