Every Emmys Red Carpet Beauty Look I’ll Be Remembering for Weeks

I don’t even know where to begin with the great red carpet beauty moments that have occurred in recent months. Let’s just say my Pinterest board has enough inspiration to last a lifetime, from Lizzo’s slicked-back style at the MTV Video Music Awards to Florence Pugh’s show-stopping frock and hair at the Venice Film Festival. But, as a beauty-obsessed editor, I’ve also realised that I can’t and, frankly, won’t stop. That takes us to the current source of my admiration: the red carpet beauty looks for the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards. Stars arrived at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles wearing a variety of looks, ranging from Old Hollywood elegance and rhinestones to modern cuts like the blunt bob.

I’m not sure what it is about this look that makes it so wonderful. What about the diamond earrings? The hairstyle from the 1960s? What about the peach lip? All of the aforementioned.

Zuri’s smokey bronze shadow with a dash of maroon blush is a great fall look.

    Elle Fanning

Elle’s style embodies Old Hollywood beauty to perfection. Her platinum necklace and pinned and curled strands go perfectly with her attire.

    Julia Garner

Julia’s golden brown eye shadow look is just stunning. It truly draws attention to her eyes. Not to mention those stunning earrings.

    Christina Ricci

Christina’s sleek bob is quite fashionable. She also chose a bare lip to allow her brown smoky eye shadow to peek through.

    Lily James

Lily increased the glam factor by using a glittery makeup on the lids. Normally, I’d assume it wouldn’t work with such a sparkly outfit, but she nailed it with this look.
