With her most recent costume, Florence Pugh has shown that in the world of fashion, opposites do indeed attract. The 26-year-old starlet stepped out in New York to promote her forthcoming Netflix feature, “The Wonder,” and she wore a cropped jacket and matching micro miniskirt from Copenhagen-based consignment and resale store Havre Studio. Havre Studio specialises in upcycling and repurposing antique items. The co-ord was split in half to create a two-tone effect, with the black fabric on one half and the cream fabric on the other, and finished with opposing buttons for added detail. Pugh proudly wore the 1960s mod look while revealing a small portion of her torso.
She and stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray skillfully paired the miniskirt with knee-high boots from Paris Texas to finish the contrasting appearance, but they weren’t going to destroy the half-and-half look with shoes. Pugh chose two boots in the same design, one each in black and white. She carried a Gucci GG Supreme Monogram Bees little padlock tote and accessorised with jewellery by Maria Tash and Tiffany & Co. She had a blonde haircut styled with ruffled waves thanks to Peter Lux, while Alex Babsky applied black eyeliner and a peach lip.

This year, Pugh has donned a number of stunning looks. She has emerged as our outstanding fashion symbol for 2022 thanks to her completely transparent skirt from Paris Fashion Week and her see-through Barbiecore ensemble from the Valentino Haute Couture show. There was also the dramatic Valentino gown she wore to the “Don’t Worry Darling” premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which was later the subject of controversy due to spit-gate.
Pugh has suggested that an album could be coming as she sets her eyes on the music business, and her acting and sense of style continue to astound us. And nothing is off bounds if this most recent ensemble is any indication. Shop for Pugh’s necessities now.
