Barbiecore was designed for Katy Perry. At the True Colors Festival in Tokyo on November 20, the “Where We Started” singer demonstrated her commitment to the style craze by donning a hot-pink latex dress and coordinating puffer jacket. Perry’s matching neon pieces are made at the Avellano latex studio in Paris. Although the brand specialises in custom pieces, her look was ready to wear as soon as it made its runway debut for spring 2023.
Katy Perry wore a floor-length neon gown that was fitted at the top and gradually loosened as it went down. While Perry’s shape was embraced by the silhouette dress, the puffer coat offered playfulness, volume, and, of course, warmth. The outerwear included several long, dart-like studs that could be opened and shut to inflate or deflate the jacket, as well as silver buttons running down the front.

As per usual, the pop sensation hired Tatiana Waterford, a celebrity stylist, to put together her performance outfit. Katy Perry three denim ensembles at the CMA Awards, her “American Idol” lace-up leggings and corset top, or her silicone dress in the “When I’m Gone” music video can help you identify Waterford’s designs.
The entire Katy Perry crew put a top-notch effort to finish off her look. Celebrity hairstylist Rick Henry gave Perry half-up space buns to complete the pink ensemble, and Michael Anthony applied neon winged eyeliner to match the colour of her clothing.
