Kendall Jenner would like you to know that she is a Scorpio. The model recently appeared in all-black lingerie for a picture session with Pop Magazine, and although that’s quite usual for someone in her profession, it was the addition of a scorpion tattoo on her buttocks that truly set the photographs apart.
Jenner is leaning on a white plastic lawn chair in the shot by Stevie Dance, with the black-ink arachnid facing the camera. The actress is known to have four little tattoos on her body — two on her fingers, one on the inside of her mouth, and one on her ankle — but this enormous one is an oddity.
The ink is artificial and was hand-painted by makeup artist Fara Homidi, which is why we haven’t seen it before. “When @stevie dance requests that you hand paint a and do it quickly, you simply go go go. The rest of Jenner’s outfit was kept simple in order for the scorpion to stand out. Her long, dark-brown hair, which was no longer coloured a copper-red, was done in a traditional middle part that reached all the way down to the middle of her back, and her makeup was natural.
