Lady Gaga took fashion to another extreme last night when she strutted down the red carpet at the 2015 Academy Awards in Los Angeles, California in a jaw-dropping sheer skeleton dress and 6-inch platform heels. The singer’s dress was so revealing that she was forced to wear an opaque flesh-colored bodysuit underneath it, which you can see if you look closely while the starlet poses on the red carpet before taking her seat inside the Dolby Theatre with her A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper and director/writer of the movie Jonny Greenwood.
With her 2022 Chromatica Ball tour in full swing, Lady Gaga is attracting attention for her daring, intricately detailed outfits. The 36-year-old artist returned to the stage in costumes composed of black leather, crimson chiffon, gold lamé, and other materials to kick off the tour in Düsseldorf, Germany. Her most recent attire, which includes crystals, a skeleton design, and a fitted sheer fabric, is the ideal going-out appearance for Halloween.
On TikTok, Lady Gaga chronicles her performance wardrobe, and her most recent outfit doesn’t let us down. The “Hold My Hand” singer can be seen strutting down the stairs in the video above wearing a black transparent minidress with billowing chiffon sleeves and a decorated skeleton on the front. She looked every bit the pop sensation with her iconic six-inch platform heels and silver hoops.
With leather booty shorts, fishnets, and an embroidered leather jacket on top, she donned the same thigh-high boots in a third outfit. The stingray-inspired headdress, which lay atop her head, was in sharp contrast to the straightforward black leather bodysuit. Making an appearance, too? A second red dress with a top that appeared to be a bodysuit and a red quilted jacket over it.
Then there was the voluminous knife-pleated gold lamé gown with gathered puff sleeves, along with the leather puff-sleeve top and slacks with a paper bag waist that appeared to be nearly office appropriate. According to Cosmopolitan, her closet literally needs a 24/7 security crew because Versace created so many of her outfits. The Versace creations Lady Gaga would be wearing, among other designer garments, are “priceless since they were produced expressly for her,” a source informed the tabloid. Numerous costumes are under constant surveillance since they are so priceless that her team doesn’t want them to be ruined or viewed by anybody.
