Lisa Haydon-Lalvani depends on coconut oil in her homemade recipes for natural and beautiful Glowing skin and hair.

Lisa Haydon Lalvani, the beau ideal of easy beauty and robust fitness, does not believe in relying on cosmetics for a radiant glow. While many natural elements and common kitchen products contribute to the model and actor’s enticing appearance, one local ingredient she swears by to keep her skin naturally gleaming and her hair bouncy is coconut oil. Coconut oil’s versatility makes it a terrific player not only in the pantry but also in beauty hacks and DIY recipes, and Lisa Haydon Lalvani agrees. Coconut oil will be the ultimate response to the issues of seasonal transition, from moisturising patchy skin to deeply hydrating dry scalp.

Three methods to use coconut oil in your skincare and haircare routine:

Coconut oil and avocado for radiant-looking skin

The coconut oil and avocado face mask is a simple alternative to time-consuming salon treatments that will give you an instant radiance. To make the simple DIY, combine 1 teaspoon mashed avocado, 1 teaspoon coconut oil, and a few drops of rose water. Combine all of the ingredients and apply the pack to your face and neck. Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes before rinsing with water and applying a light moisturiser.

Tackle chapped lips with coconut oil

If you frequently find yourself furiously applying hydrating chapsticks but still end up with dry cracked lips, this simple DIY will become your new favourite hack. 1 teaspoon coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, and a pinch cocoa powder are needed to produce this recipe. Mix the ingredients together to make a paste-like consistency, then apply to your lips. Allow for a 10-minute rest before gently scrubbing it off in a circular motion to exfoliate the dead skin and damaged areas. Finally, rinse with lukewarm water and apply your favourite lip balm to seal in the moisture.

Coconut oil has been used to accompany the traditional hair oiling practise of Indian moms for centuries, and it is the one simple component you can rely on to improve the general condition of your hair. Whether you make a natural combination of olive oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E or simply use coconut oil, incorporating this item into your haircare routine will ensure a seamless transition from brittle mane to healthy lustrous locks in no time.
