The suspect accused of attacking Olympian Kim Glass has been charged with assault after she took to social media to point out off her accidents and clarify how the entire incident unfolded.
In keeping with Fox Information, Semeon Tesfamariam, 51, was charged with assault with a lethal weapon earlier this week after Glass revealed that she was hit within the face with a steel pipe that left seen bruises on her face and left her with a number of fractures.
Los Angeles County District Lawyer George Gascóns mentioned,
“This was a brutal, unprovoked assault. Mr. Tesfamariam has a troubling historical past of attacking apparently random folks with harmful weapons. His conduct seems to have escalated with time.”
Officers say Tesfamariam was convicted of felony assault in 2018 and 2019.
As beforehand reported, Glass took to social media and confirmed off her bruised face, and defined what occurred in the course of the incident.
