On Monday, September 12, Sydney Sweeney celebrated her two Emmy nominations for “The White Lotus” and “Euphoria” in Los Angeles. After walking the red carpet in a handmade Oscar de la Renta gown with glittering floral appliqué, the 25-year-old actress changed into a vintage Versace gown in a lovely jade tone to attend HBO’s nomination celebration at San Vicente Bungalows.

Molly Dickson, Sweeney’s stylist, explained that the star’s gown was purposefully worn backward to highlight the three spectacular cutouts over the chest, bust, and torso. While the floor-sweeping skirt was constructed of gathered satin, the contrast leather sleeves and thick patent strips sewed across the bodice added an edge. Elegant teardrop diamond earrings and Giuseppe Zanotti Bebe platforms completed the ensemble.
Sweeney got a full glam makeover for the transition, with hairstylist Glen Coco straightening her waves into a sleek lob with a flip at the end, makeup artist Melissa Hernandez lining her eyes in a smouldering, evening-appropriate cat eye, and manicurist Zola Ganzorigt painting her nails the perfect shade of green.

Sweeney attended the event with “Euphoria” co-stars Zendaya (who also changed into a sultrier Valentino silhouette) and Maude Apatow before heading to New York Fashion Week, where she sat front row at the Tory Burch catwalk show on Sept. 13 to fulfil her duty as brand ambassador.
