The barely-there makeup look ruled the summer, and deservedly so given how hot it was, but for autumn, we’re ready to level (and layer) up. First and foremost? Eyeshadow in copper. Our eyes have been semi-naked for far too long, and we’re in desperate need of a delectably rich shade that can deliver seductive, luxury, and comfortable sensations all at once. Copper eyeshadow delivers on all three, plus because it’s inspired by the warm russet, rust, spice, and sepia tones found in autumn leaves, fading sunsets, and your pumpkin spiced coffee, it’s also a total mood.
The shade has already received some major celebrity endorsements, having been seen on the lids of Dua Lipa, Florence Pugh, and Emma Chamberlain. Even better, we love how the democratic tone complements all eye colours (browns, blues, greens, ambers, and greys) and skin tones. It offers some much-needed warmth, too as we head into the cooler months. However, it will also sparkle brilliantly for those final few summer sunscapes.
