The twin daughters of Sarah Jessica Parker attend the premiere of “Hocus Pocus 2”

The cast of “Hocus Pocus 2” reunited on the red carpet to celebrate the long-awaited premiere of the film on Disney+. The original Sanderson Sisters, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Bette Midler, posed for pictures at New York’s AMC Lincoln Square Theater on September 27. The cast members’ families, as well as Doug Jones, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, and others, were there.

Parker accompanied her husband, Matthew Broderick, and their 13-year-old twin daughters, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, who have mainly kept their children out of the spotlight over the years. The actor and producer appeared in a floral-print jacket and harem-style pants, while Marion donned a reflective glitter dress and Tabitha wore a black puff-sleeve minidress. All three donned SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker shoes to show their support for the woman of the hour. Parker attended the “And Just Like That” premiere in December 2021 with her 19-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, so family red carpet appearances may become a new tradition.

The “Hocus Pocus” sequel is finally arriving on Disney+ this Friday, nearly three decades after the original film aired in 1993. The story continues 29 years after the previous film, when “three young ladies unintentionally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern-day Salem.” Peak, Buckingham, and Escobedo play the three adolescent girls, while the original Sanderson Sisters reprise their legendary roles.
